Everything About Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 2

Lenovo’s ThinkPad E14 series is made for business, and the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 is just that: a business laptop. Premium hardware, features that are easy to use, a high price, and a few disappointing design choices add up to a good work machine that is best bought on sale.

Lenovo’s Latest Series:

The ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 laptop has a state-of-the-art 11th Gen Intel® CoreTM processor, so you can get work done faster. With the option of discrete NVIDIA® 450MX graphics, you can be sure that this device can handle any job you throw at it.

Do You Know About the Performance of Lenovo ThinkPad E14?

The CPU and SSD (Solid State Drive) work together to do things quickly and accurately. Opening File Explorer to look at your Documents or Downloads is quick, and using the search function to sort through data takes almost no time at all, which is definitely not the case with an HDD (Hard Disk Drive). The ThinkPad series is great because you can change the hardware. If you want something stronger than an Intel Core i5 and 256GB of storage, you can get it. But be careful: the price follows the value.

Is it Good For Gaming?

This laptop has built-in graphics; you won’t be able to do too much high-end gaming on it. 4K Elden Ring is out of the question, but if you sometimes want to play Rocket League or FTL: Faster than Light at 60+ FPS on your work computer, the ThinkPad can do it (albeit on low to medium video settings).

How well does the Lenovo ThinkPad 14 Connectivity?

In tests of Wi-Fi speed, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 did well, and what’s more, it did well every time. My iPhone XR usually got a download speed of about 250 Mbps, but the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 always got more than 450 Mbps. On the right side, there is a USB Type-A 2.0 port, an RJ45 ethernet port for high-speed work-from-home connections, and a Kensington lock slot for an extra layer of security.

Do You Know About the Display of Lenovo ThinkPad E14?

When you look at the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2, your eyes tell you it’s light, but when you pick it up with your hands, they tell you it’s kind of heavy. At 3.5 pounds, it’s not the most portable laptop on the market, but it’s not the heaviest one either. Compared to the 2.8 pounds of the MacBook Air, it’s clear which one you’d rather have in your bag all day.

Weight:

Still, the Black or Mineral Metallic anodized aluminum covers make up a big part of that weight, and I wouldn’t give them up for a pound. They give the laptop a strong, sleek look that goes all the way around it. But fingerprints and smudges stick to them like moths to a flame.

Is Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Reliable or not?

The ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 is put through more than 200 quality checks and 12 military-grade tests. You can also trust these laptops to handle whatever life throws at them.

Do You Know About the Latest Keyboard Feature?

The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 has a standard QWERTY keyboard, but some media keys like Play/Pause and Skip Forward/Backward are missing (but you still have volume control, brightness, and call handling keys). I also like that there’s a key for taking screenshots, which isn’t necessary since there’s a shortcut for that, but it is nice to have sometimes.

The controls for the backlighting are a little strange. At first, I thought this keyboard might not have any backlighting because it isn’t controlled by the function keys. The Low setting is good for using the keyboard in the dark without blinding your partner while you work, and the High setting is just a little bit brighter. Like with the screen, I’d like to see this area get brighter.

Is Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Support Fingerprint Sensor?

The fingerprint ID power button is right next to the keyboard. I don’t like it. Compared to the keyboard, it feels soft and almost weak. And while the fingerprint reader is a cool feature to have when paired with the one-touch power-on feature, I would rather see the money and attention put into other problems with this budget model to make it truly stand out in its weight class.

What are the Latest Features of Lenovo ThinkPad 14?

Webcam:

The 720p HD camera has the usual noise and muddy colors of laptop webcams, but it works pretty well in low-light areas and has such smooth tracking that I thought it might be recording in 60 FPS. However, a quick webcam FPS test showed that it’s locked to a constant 30 FPS. Learn more about apk

Microphone:

The microphone is surprisingly clear, and it doesn’t have that “you’re in a fishbowl” sound that internal laptop mics often have. Since the internal microphone blocks out background noise better than most Apple headphones, you may want to use it instead of the other options. Lenovo had to do well on this part for the laptop to be able to compete with other business laptops, and it did.

Speakers:

The speakers can get pretty loud, but the sound isn’t as clear as it could be. Rich crescendos and heavy bass drops won’t come out of the ThinkPad speakers like they would from a JBL Charge 5, but they are good enough for work. Learn more about News

Is Lenovo ThinkPad 14 Gen 2 Battery Life good or not?

is-lenovo-thinkpad-14-gen-2-battery-life-good-or-not

The battery life of the ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 is more than enough for light work on the go, but you may need a charger nearby if you plan to work late into the night. Almost eight and a half hours of battery life were given for light work and some Chrome browsing. For more intense work and light gaming, the battery life was closer to seven hours.

Do You Know Anything About It’s Charging Speed?

The 65W AC Thunderbolt 4 charging is fast, so by the time you get up to get a cup of coffee, the battery life has increased by 20 percent. Using the charger that came with it, it took 1 hour and 41 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. (with very light usage during the charge time).
