Meanwhile, Mikhailo Podoliak, an aide to the Ukrainian president, expressed outrage over Medvedev’s remarks. He tweeted, ‘Ukraine has, was and will be. The question is, where will Medvedev stay in these two years? ‘

Medvedev has been seen making offensive remarks before the Ukraine war. He says Western sanctions on Russia mean an economic war against Moscow.
