Neymar’s future in PSG is uncertain

PSG is starting all over again. Whether Neymar will be there or not is uncertain.

At least the supporters of the Brazilian star can think of something like that in the words of the PSG president. After dropping out of the last 16 of the Champions League, there was a hint of change in the PSG. Leonardo has resigned as the club’s sports director. The new director Luis Campos has arrived. Coach Mauricio Pachettino will also leave. Lil is almost certain to replace coach Christopher Galatier.

According to the French media, the only thing left to do now is to make an official announcement. And PSG wants to see the way by making Killian Mbappe a ‘jewel of the eye’ as the forerunner of this new beginning. In the new contract, Mbappe has been made the most expensive player in the history of football. Then many people thought, if PSG pays all attention to MBAP, will Neymar be in the club? Besides, there is Lionel Messi!

Messi is 34 years old. At this juncture in his career, Messi knows himself, and he may not be the centerpiece of the plan at any other club. But Neymar is 30 years old. Before coming to Mbappe, PSG dreamed of winning the Champions League around Neymar. Even when he came to Mbappe, he could not realize his dream. After the new contract with the French star, when everyone thought that Neymar might leave PSG this time, just then the Brazilian star himself said that he wants to fulfill his contract in PSG.

However, after failing in the Champions League, Neymar listened to both PSG supporters in the league match. His current contract with PSG is valid till 2025.

Now the question is whether Neymar will be in the PSG’s new start plan. PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi did not elaborate on the matter in an interview with Spanish media outlet Marca.

However, he explained that the way PSG used to keep Neymar at bay, it seems that it is not happening anymore, ‘It would not be right to talk about this in the media. Many will come, many will leave. These are matters of personal bargaining. ‘Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 on a world-record transfer fee. Last March, the media reported that PSG could sell Neymar at the end of the season. The club in Paris is angry with him. The Guardian, the New York Times and the BBC quoted Romain Molina, a well-known freelance journalist, as saying that PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi was upset with Neymar.

The Brazilian star has not been able to justify his skyrocketing price with his performance. There is a series of injuries, PSG is annoyed with Neymar’s activities even off the field. After the arrival of Neymar, the fifth season of the Champions League remained elusive for PSG. “The truth is, I want to stay,” Neymar told the Oh My Goal website in March.
