To reduce friction and wear between moving surfaces, special lubricants are applied. These lubricants are used to replace dry friction with fluid-film friction or thin-film friction depending on the speed and load of the moving parts. Thin-film friction, which has some contact between moving parts, is usually used when heavy loads are involved. Fluid lubrication, also known as thick-film lubrication, creates a pressure layer between moving surfaces that keeps them apart. This type of lubrication is not easily maintained in high-speed machinery, so it is only used when there are moderate oscillations or reciprocating conditions. The lubricant used and the method of application are crucial factors in efficient operation of machinery.

Lubricators

Lubricators can be used to control or measure the amount of lubricant that is being applied. Lubricators provide proper lubrication regardless the airflow. Lubricators have a variety of features, including low-level safety switches, adjustable volume, temperature switches and pressure switches. They also include integral filters and heat exchangers.

High Performance Lubricants

Modern machinery requires high-performance lubricants. High-performance lubricants are used to prevent corrosion and solids settling on machine parts. High-performance lubricants can be used in extremely high temperatures with low oil evaporation. This extends the life of industrial bearings.

Automatic Lubrication

Automated Lubrication is vital to extend the life of any machine/plant that is exposed to extreme conditions. This can lead to high wear rates of various pins, bearings, and other components.

Automatic Lubricator

Proper lubrication will ensure the equipment’s performance. Over- or under-lubrication can cause premature bearing failure, which can cost thousands of dollars in downtime and repair costs. Automatic Lubricators are able to service one machine or multiple machines at once. The central pump station delivers the lubricant via a single supply line to all injectors, regardless of its application.
