  • Nutrition: There is a high chance that a trail run shall last longer than a typical 10k road run. Hence, runners should carry energy bars, gels and other snacks to fuel their body during longer runs.  Runners must consider the distance they plan to cover on the run, and pack enough nutrition as per its accordance. 
  • Windbreaker: The weather on trails, especially at elevation, can change pretty fast. Hence, it would be a smart choice to pack a light windbreaker in the hydration pack in case the weather is colder than one would expect.
