1. India Visa Requirements

To apply for a Latvian visa, you want to meet the subsequent requirements: – you want to have a passport that’s valid for a minimum of six months once your planned departure from India. -You must gift a legitimate visa form (available from the Latvian embassy or consulate).

Both countries require you to provide proof of financial support to stay in India. In Japan, this can be either an advance payment or a letter of credit from your bank guaranteeing that you will have enough money to cover your expenses while in India. Indian Visa for Latvian Citizens

3. Latvia visa requirements

Latvia has canceled visas for citizens of Japan, the United States, Canada, the European Union, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

For visitors from other countries, Latvia requires a visa application form and four copies of your passport—one original and three photocopies. Visa fee is $30 per person.

To apply for a visa, visit the Latvian embassy or consulate in your country. You can also apply online on the Ministry of External Affairs website. Note that you will need to provide proof of financial stability in the form of a bank statement or letter from the insurance company stating that you will not

India and Latvia are two of the most populous countries in the world, with more than 1.3 billion people each.Although both countries have improved their visa processes in recent years, different restrictions still apply to certain nationalities. For example, Japan does not allow its citizens to work or study in Latvia without first obtaining a visa, while Latvian citizens are only required to obtain a tourist visa before traveling to India for tourism purposes.
