Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek has faith in CS:GO players, and he knows why some of them are seen as the best to ever play the game. Shroud explains why people should look up to those players who have played the earlier versions of the Valve shooter game as well.
Shroud believes that all of those CS players who grew up playing the early versions of the shooter game they play today have a lot of great skills to bring to the table. For the star, both CS 1.6 and 1.5 proved to be the best games of all time.
For starters, Shroud’s insane aim and huge career as a pro CS:GO player made him an icon in the game. There are a lot of fans who look up to him and even say that he has set the bar for all players in the game up to this date. It is also one of the reasons why thousands of fans tune in to watch all of his streams.
It is easy to forget that all of those skills came into play when he was still a kid. Shroud has played CS 1.6 and 1.5 at a young age, so he believes that claim to be true in every player that has played the same.
‘I personally think people who played Counter-Strike 1.6 and 1.5 growing up are the best gamers’, the CS star said. ‘Those are the best gamers of all time in any game. I don’t think it has too much to do with the mechanics of the game itself’.
While he said that it has nothing to do with the game’s mechanics, Shroud believes that it is more about the time that CS players have spent in those games.
This makes a lot of sense. Shroud and a few other stars have thrived in CS:GO for so many years and they have proved themselves as the elite or the best of the best. Most of those stars have played for a long time, and that perhaps made them the legends of the game.
