The Department of Primary Education (DPE) has said that there will be transparency in the recruitment of 45,000 assistant teachers in government primary schools. The department issued a notification on Tuesday (June 21) warning against money laundering or any other unethical means to be tempted by the temptation of brokers or fraudsters.
At the end of the three-step written test for the largest recruitment in the primary, the oral test of those who have passed the first and second steps is underway. The oral examination of those who have passed the third stage will start from July 3.
The notification signed by the director general of the department Sohail Ahmed (additional responsibility) said that the results of all the steps have already been published after taking the written test of recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools by 2020. The oral examination of the candidates selected in the written test of the first phase has started from 12th June and of the candidates of the second phase from 19th June. The oral examination of the candidates selected in the third stage written examination will start from 3rd July.
Following the Government Primary School Teacher Recruitment Rules, 2019, the recruitment process of assistant teachers will be completed with complete transparency and impartiality. As a result, no waiting list / panel will be prepared except for the list of candidates to be recruited for each Upazila / Shiksha Khana. Out of 20 marks in the oral examination, 10 marks will be determined on the basis of educational qualifications of SSC, HSC and undergraduate classes. On the remaining 10 numbers, the interview board will give the number after verifying the personality, ability of expression, general knowledge and cultural activities of the candidate.
All the work of preparation of results including evaluation of answer scripts is done automatically through software. In this case, there is no scope for illegal intervention. There is no chance of being appointed as an assistant teacher in a primary school through money laundering or any other unethical means. Jobs will be based on merit and qualifications. Therefore, all concerned are requested not to make any kind of money transaction due to the temptation of brokers or fraudsters. If anyone is tempted to give a job in exchange for money, he is requested to be handed over to the nearest police station or to inform the intelligence agency.
