40 Inch TV

LED TVs come in a plethora of sizes to your viewing preference. Some of them are exceptionally big to account for the true Home Theatre setup while others are barebones that are intended for the casual viewer who likes to watch the news. Both of these form factors have their own audience, but most modern homes would rather have something that has a decent screen real estate but one that doesn’t hog up a lot of space on the desk or the wall. That is precisely where the 40 inchers come into play as they seem to fit the bill just perfect for every type of viewer. They are the go-to size for a decent TV viewing area for an immersive experience and yet, not too big that it’ll become a cause for the inconvenience. Here I’ll give you my pics for the best 40 inch TVs currently on sale, so let’s start.

  1. Samsung RM40D Full HD Smart TV: Kicking off with the most expensive of the lot, we have Samsung’s stellar RM series. This is one hell of a TV for the discerning media binging enthusiast and packs in a ton of nifty features. It has a resolution of 1080p with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, but what makes it a contender for the best 40 incher is the panel which Samsung dubs as the “LED BLU” panel which is primarily designed for continuous commercial use. These panels are made to operate for extended periods, and as a result, they have the most robust durability among all panel types. The RM40D also has a peak brightness of 350nits which very good for indoor viewing, and it also has a peak contrast ratio of 5000:1 which is exceptional. Adding to the entertainment package, it has dual 10W speakers and a host of connectivity options such as USB, HDMI, HDMI 2.0, Composite and Analog D-SUB. Sure, it’s a bit on the pricey side being a Signage TV, but for a durable panel that can take a beating kind of makes it worth the extra expense, and it also has a 3-year warranty to back it off.
